About PCRA

Priceville Community Recreation Association (PCRA) is a non-profit organization established to help the youth of Priceville learn and understand the meaning of sports and sportsmanship.  The organization was founded in 1982 and works closely with Morgan County Parks & Recreation. You can download and read our Operating Rules and By-Laws.  PCRA currently supports football, cheer, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball and even t-ball for the youngest ones.  Priceville Junior High School and Priceville High School all benefit greatly from the teachings of PCRA.  We work closely with the high school coaches to help teach our coaches proper techniques and drills.  PCRA uses the gyms at Priceville High School, Priceville Elementary School, and Sparkman Elementary School.  We use the baseball fields and grounds at Veteran's Park and North Park.  We also use the football field and the yard at Priceville Elementary School.  PCRA's primary base for sports is North Park.  Our address is:

54 North Park Dr.
Decatur, AL 35603

PCRA requires registration fees for kids to play sports.  These funds go toward insurance, referees and equipment for all PCRA sports.  Parents or guardians of a child in good standing and currently on any official roster of a PCRA team shall be considered Members. A child in good standing will be one whose registration and related fees have been paid in full or modified as approved by the Directors as in the case of approved hardships. Further, coaches, whether parents of a child or not, shall be considered members. Each parent/guardian of a child in good standing is considered a member and is entitled to one vote in matters that may come before the General Membership at semiannual membership meetings.
